- Safely operate and maintain company-owned commercial vehicles, adhering to all federal and state regulations
- Transport furniture and other products to designated locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
- Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment, reporting any issues or concerns to management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, including logs and receipts
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and route guidelines
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Regularly communicate with management and provide updates on delivery progress and any potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and organized loading and unloading of products
- Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Commercial Driver's License (Cdl): Candidates Must Have A Valid Cdl With The Appropriate Endorsements For The Type Of Vehicle They Will Be Operating.
Clean Driving Record: A Good Driving Record Is Essential For This Role To Ensure Safe And Timely Delivery Of Goods. This Includes No Major Violations Such As Duis Or Accidents.
Experience In Commercial Driving: Previous Experience As A Commercial Driver Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates Knowledge Of Transportation Laws, Vehicle Operation, And Safe Driving Practices.
Physical Fitness: Cdl Drivers Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Objects, As Well As Sit For Long Periods Of Time While Driving.
Time Management Skills: The Ability To Manage Time Effectively And Stick To A Delivery Schedule Is Crucial For This Role, As It Ensures Prompt And Efficient Delivery Of Goods To Customers.
