4. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
5. Train and mentor accounts payable team members to ensure high-quality work and continuous improvement.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payments and transactions.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations.
9. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and audits.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvements.
11. Handle any escalated issues or complaints related to accounts payable.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
13. Make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and ways to optimize the accounts payable function.
14. Act as a liaison between the accounts payable team and upper management, providing regular updates and reports.
15. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders.
