If so, Ascension Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Technologist to join our team.As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our organization by performing non-invasive vascular procedures and assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. Our ideal candidate will have a degree in vascular technology or a related field, along with certification in Vascular Technology (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). Additionally, we are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.   1. Perform non-invasive vascular procedures and assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions.
  2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients.
  3. Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in vascular technology to accurately and efficiently perform procedures.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all procedures and documentation.
  5. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability.
  6. Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
  7. Maintain a professional and compassionate manner while working with patients and their families.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Stay current with advancements and updates in vascular technology and procedures.
  10. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the performance of duties.
  11. Assist with training and mentoring of new technologists and students.
  12. Maintain proper documentation of procedures and patient records.
  13. Adhere to organization's policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  15. Work efficiently and effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  17. Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and provide recommendations based on test results.
  18. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols and procedures.
  19. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  20. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Ardms Certification In Vascular Technology

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Vascular Technologist

  • Familiarity With Current Vascular Imaging Equipment And Techniques
