Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Terminology: A Unit Assistant For The Cardiovascular Department At Ascension Health Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology Related To The Heart And Cardiovascular System.
Experience With Ehr Systems: Proficiency With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems Is Essential For This Role, As The Unit Assistant Will Be Responsible For Accurately Documenting Patient Information And Updating Medical Records.
Cpr Certification: As A Member Of The Healthcare Team, A Unit Assistant Must Have Current Cpr Certification To Respond To Emergency Situations And Assist With Patient Care As Needed.
Strong Organizational Skills: The Unit Assistant Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Patient Charts, Scheduling Appointments, And Coordinating Tests And Procedures. Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary To Ensure Timely And Accurate Completion Of These Tasks.
