  1. Monitor and interpret patient vital signs accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Report any abnormal findings to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  3. Ensure all telemetry equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient telemetry readings.
  5. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
  6. Respond promptly to any alarms or alerts from the telemetry equipment.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement appropriate patient care plans.
  8. Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to all patients.
  9. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  10. Keep up-to-date with new technology and procedures related to telemetry monitoring.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  12. Assist with training and mentoring new telemetry technicians.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized monitor room.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Telemetry Technician: The Candidate Should Have A Valid Certification As A Telemetry Technician From An Accredited Institution Or Organization.

  • Proficient In Medical Terminology: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Be Able To Accurately Interpret And Document Vital Signs And Rhythms.

  • Experience In Monitoring Equipment: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Operating And Troubleshooting Various Types Of Monitoring Equipment Such As Ekg, Pulse Oximetry, And Blood Pressure Monitors.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Telemetry Technician, It Is Crucial To Have A Keen Eye For Detail In Order To Identify Any Abnormalities Or Changes In A Patient's Vital Signs And Relay That Information To The Healthcare Team.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment. The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Efficiently With Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals, Both Verbally And In Written Form.
