Technologist - Echocardiography

- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests on patients using specialized equipment and techniques
- Accurately interpret and analyze test results to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on test results and patient needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques to continuously improve patient care
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Educate patients on the purpose and procedures of echocardiograms and other cardiac tests
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the echocardiography department
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate communication and coordination of patient care.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.
Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Echocardiograms In A Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology.
