Technician-Pharmacy Advocate

As a Technician-Pharmacy Advocate, you will work with pharmacists, medical staff, and other professionals to ensure patient medication needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.To be successful in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing and preparation for patients.
2. Ensure that medication orders are accurate and up-to-date.
3. Process prescriptions and verify patient information.
4. Answer any questions patients may have about their medications and provide appropriate information.
5. Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
6. Prepare and distribute medication kits, labels, and other materials.
7. Provide excellent customer service to all patients and healthcare personnel.
8. Comply with all legal and safety regulations related to pharmacy processes.
9. Participate in continuing education programs to maintain pharmacy technician license.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
