- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during surgeries.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance accordingly.
- Prepare and position patients for surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
- Handle surgical instruments and equipment with care and ensure proper sterilization.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through education and training opportunities.

- Serve as a resource for other members of the healthcare team regarding surgical procedures and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.

- Monitor and order necessary supplies and equipment for the operating room.
- Assist with any other tasks or duties as assigned by the surgical team or supervisor.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Surgical Assisting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting
Certified Surgical First Assistant (Csfa) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa)
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment
Ability To Anticipate The Needs Of The Surgeon And Assist In The Surgical Procedure With Precision And Efficiency
