  3. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure Ascension Health remains competitive.
  6. Provide insightful guidance and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis and market trends.
  7. Lead and manage the development of business plans and proposals for new initiatives.
  8. Monitor and track progress of strategic initiatives and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.
  9. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, vendors, and industry experts.
  11. Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  12. Ensure all business strategies and initiatives align with ethical and legal standards.
  13. Mentor and develop team members to support their growth and development within the organization.
  14. Proactively identify and address potential challenges or obstacles to the success of strategic initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Business Or Related Field: A Strategic Business Development Director At Ascension Health Would Be Expected To Possess At Least A Master's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field. This Advanced Education Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Analyze And Develop Strategic Business Plans For The Organization.

  • Minimum 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development: Ascension Health Is A Large And Complex Healthcare Organization, Therefore, The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development. This Experience Should Include A Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Executing Strategic Initiatives, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Analytical And Financial Skills: As A Strategic Business Development Director, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Conducting In-Depth Analyses Of Market Trends, Financial Data, And Competitive Landscape To Inform Strategic Decisions. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Financial Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Proven Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Demonstrated Experience In Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Strategic Objectives. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Drive Alignment Towards A Common Goal.
