Sr. QA Software Engineer

Ascension Health is seeking a passionate and driven Sr. QA Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing quality engineering processes and ensuring the quality of our software products. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying areas of improvement.Minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of experience in software development, and 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
2. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and software tools in order to increase efficiency.
3. Perform manual and automated tests to ensure the software meets design specifications and requirements.
4. Work with developers to ensure proper software design and development standards are met.
5. Analyze system specifications and customer requirements to develop comprehensive test plans.
6. Investigate, diagnose, and debug software issues and submit software bug reports.
7. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving software quality.
8. Stay up-to-date on software testing trends and best practices.
9. Participate in agile development processes such as scrum and sprint planning.
10. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
