Job Description

At Ascension Health, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate School Health Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate has an unwavering commitment to providing excellent care and support to students in a school environment. The School Health Assistant must be an organized and reliable professional with the ability to multi-task and work with a diverse range of students and staff. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be knowledgeable of health-related topics, and have a passion for helping others. The successful candidate will be required to have a valid nursing license in the state they are assigned to work, and have at least two years of previous experience working in a school health setting. Additional qualifications include strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a current CPR certification. We are looking for an individual who will be committed to providing an exceptional standard of care to our students and who is driven to make a positive difference in our school community.

Responsibilities:

  2. Manage multiple tasks and work with a diverse range of students and staff
  3. Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Stay knowledgeable of health-related topics
