
RN Nursing Supervisor

- Oversee and supervise daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care is provided to patients.
- Lead a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure a positive work environment and high levels of team morale.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and effective treatment for each patient.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including but not limited to infection control, patient privacy, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient care and address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of care and treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and department efficiency.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in nursing leadership.
- Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and integrity within the nursing department.
Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Where The Position Is Located.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn): A Bsn Degree Is Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Training In The Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Nursing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Nursing Experience, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team, Make Tough Decisions, And Communicate Effectively With Staff, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Protocols: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Protocols, And Best Practices, Including Hipaa, Osha, And Joint Commission Standards. This Knowledge Is Essential To Ensure The Highest Quality Of Care And Compliance With Regulatory Requirements.
