  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the utilization management department.
  2. Develop and implement utilization management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of utilization management nurses, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and development.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources.
  5. Develop and monitor utilization management metrics and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with utilization management processes and identify potential areas for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in utilization management.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the utilization management department and other departments, communicating and resolving any issues or concerns.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of utilization management decisions and processes.
  10. Promote a culture of compassionate care and patient-centeredness within the utilization management department and throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Valid Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Utilization Management, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Reimbursement Systems, And Utilization Management Principles.

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
