  1. Assist in providing respiratory care to patients under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  2. Observe and learn techniques and procedures used in respiratory therapy.
  3. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during treatment.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  6. Participate in educational and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  7. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  8. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  9. Continuously assess patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program: The Candidate Must Have Successfully Completed An Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, Demonstrating A Strong Understanding Of Respiratory Care Principles, Techniques, And Equipment.

  • Active Respiratory Therapist License: The Candidate Must Hold An Active Respiratory Therapist License In The State Where The Internship Will Take Place. This Ensures That They Are Qualified To Practice Respiratory Therapy Under The Supervision Of A Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Life Support (Als) Certification: The Candidate Must Have Current Bls And Als Certification, Showing Their Ability To Respond To Medical Emergencies And Provide Life-Saving Interventions.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As An Intern, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential To Effectively Provide Respiratory Care Services.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Respiratory Therapy Requires Precise And Accurate Documentation, Monitoring, And Assessments. The Candidate Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Clinical Setting.
