- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.

Completed Or Currently Enrolled In An Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program: The Ideal Candidate For This Internship Position Should Have A Strong Foundation In Respiratory Therapy Principles, Techniques, And Procedures. This Can Be Demonstrated By Completing Or Actively Pursuing A Degree In An Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: As An Intern At Ascension Health, You Will Be Working In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment. Having Bls And Acls Certifications Ensures That You Are Prepared To Handle Emergency Situations And Provide Life-Saving Treatments If Needed.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Respiratory Therapy Intern, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis.
