  1. Process insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement for medical services rendered.
  2. Verify insurance coverage and communicate with insurance companies to resolve any reimbursement issues.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing any questions or concerns regarding insurance coverage and reimbursement.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of insurance claims and payments received.
  7. Stay up to date on changes in insurance regulations and policies.
  8. Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues with insurance claims and reimbursement.
  9. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and targets.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  11. Keep patient information confidential and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Provide training and support to colleagues on insurance policies and procedures.
  13. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for more efficient reimbursement procedures.
  14. Collaborate with insurance companies to negotiate rates and resolve billing discrepancies.
  15. Uphold the values and mission of Ascension Health by providing compassionate and quality care to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Healthcare Reimbursement Or Revenue Cycle Management.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Billing And Coding Guidelines, Including Medicare And Medicaid Regulations.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Insurance Providers.
