- Provide respiratory care to patients with complex and chronic respiratory conditions.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy: A Rrt In A Long Term Acute Care Setting At Ascension Health Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Individual Has A Thorough Understanding Of The Respiratory System And Is Equipped With The Necessary Skills To Provide Quality Care.
Active Rrt License: Candidates Must Have An Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) License From The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) To Be Considered For This Job. This License Ensures That The Individual Has Met The National Standards For Respiratory Therapy Practice And Is Qualified To Provide Care In A Long Term Acute Care Setting.
Experience In Long Term Acute Care: Ascension Health Is Looking For Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Long Term Acute Care Facility. This Experience Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Work Effectively In This Specialized Care Setting And Familiarity With The Unique Needs Of Long Term Acute Care Patients.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification: As A Rrt In A Long Term Acute Care Setting, It Is Crucial To Have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification. This Certification Demonstrates The Individual's Ability To Respond To Cardiac Emergencies And Provide Life-Saving Interventions In A Critical Care Setting.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: In A Long Term Acute Care Setting, Rrts Work Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team To Provide Comprehensive Care For Patients.
