  1. Provide safe and efficient vascular access care to patients.
  2. Assess and monitor patient's vascular access needs and make appropriate recommendations.
  3. Insert and maintain various types of vascular access devices.
  4. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper vascular access care.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
  7. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  9. Remain up-to-date on best practices and guidelines for vascular access care.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  11. Provide emotional support to patients and families during difficult procedures.
  12. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  13. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice.
  14. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills.
  15. Serve as a patient advocate and ensure their needs are met.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Vascular Access Or Related Field

  • Certification In Vascular Access (E.g. Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (Crni) Or Vascular Access Board Certified (Va-Bc))

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certification And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
