Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution: Ascension Health Requires All Registered Nurses In The Trauma Neuro Icu To Have A Minimum Of A Bsn In Nursing. This Ensures That Nurses Are Well-Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide High-Quality Care In A Critical Care Setting.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License: As A Healthcare Organization, Ascension Health Requires All Nurses To Have A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing. This Ensures That Nurses Are Practicing Within The Legal Scope Of Their Profession And Are Up-To-Date With Their Clinical Skills.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting: The Trauma Neuro Icu Is A Highly Specialized And Complex Unit That Deals With Critically Ill Patients. As Such, Ascension Health Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting, Preferably In A Trauma Or Neuro Icu.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For Nurses Working In The Trauma Neuro Icu. These Certifications Ensure That Nurses Are Trained In Life-Saving Techniques And Are Prepared To Handle Any Emergency Situations That May Arise In The Unit.
