Registered Nurse (RN) - Plastics and Hand Clinic

1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients with plastic and reconstructive surgery needs, as well as hand and upper extremity injuries.
2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
3. Utilize strong assessment skills to accurately assess patient needs and develop appropriate nursing interventions.
4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
5. Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in condition, response to treatments, and patient outcomes.
6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
7. Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient response.
8. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address patient and family needs, concerns, and potential barriers to care.
9. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and following infection control protocols.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
11. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and their needs are met.
12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
