- Utilizing clinical skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For A Rn Position At Ascension Health. This Degree Ensures That The Rn Has Received A Comprehensive Education In Nursing Principles And Practices.
Active Rn License: All Candidates Must Have An Active Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Rn Is Qualified To Practice And Provide Care In That Particular State.
Oncology Certification: Ascension Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Obtained Certification In Oncology Nursing. This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Caring For Patients With Cancer.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Oncology Nursing Experience: Ascension Health Requires Candidates To Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Rn In An Oncology Setting. This Experience Allows The Rn To Have A Strong Understanding Of The Complexities And Challenges Of Caring For Cancer Patients.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Rn In Oncology, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial. The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members Is Essential For Providing Quality Care And Ensuring A Positive Patient Experience.
