  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to assess and prioritize patient needs in emergency situations.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  4. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  6. Respond quickly and efficiently to changes in patient condition and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.
  7. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  8. Educate patients and their families on their conditions and provide instructions for post-discharge care.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices, standards, and regulations.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  11. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  12. Remain calm and professional in high-stress and fast-paced situations.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  14. Act as a patient advocate and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of care.
  15. Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development, including attending trainings and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.

  • Active Rn Licensure In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Emergency Department Or Critical Care Setting.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, With Excellent Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills.
