
Registered Nurse - Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health

- Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients with mental health challenges.
- Utilize a holistic approach to care, considering the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to interventions.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Adhere to all hospital and unit policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in pediatric mental health nursing and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice
Certification In Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (Pmhnp-Bc) From The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc)
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatments In Children And Adolescents, As Well As Experience In Crisis Intervention And Management.
