- Provide exceptional care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in the PACU/Recovery unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' post-surgery condition, including vital signs, pain level, and overall well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support during the recovery process.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Valid Rn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For A Registered Nurse - Pacu/Recovery Job At Ascension Health Is A Current And Valid Rn License. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Practice As A Registered Nurse.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pacu/Recovery: Ascension Health Prefers Candidates Who Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pacu/Recovery Setting. This Demonstrates A Level Of Proficiency And Familiarity With The Specialized Skills And Knowledge Required For This Role.
