  1. Oversee and manage a team of nurses, ensuring they are following all hospital policies and procedures and providing high-quality care to patients.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of nursing care provided.
  3. Serve as a role model and mentor for nursing staff, offering guidance and support in their professional development.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and maintain effective care plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to nursing practice.
  7. Manage department budget and resources effectively to maintain cost-efficient operations.
  8. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff.
  9. Stay updated on current nursing practices and advancements in healthcare to continuously improve the department's operations.
  10. Handle any conflicts or issues within the team, working towards resolution in a professional and respectful manner.
  11. Represent the nursing department in meetings and committees, advocating for the needs and concerns of the team.
  12. Act as a liaison between the nursing team and upper management, communicating any important updates or issues.
  13. Participate in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new nursing staff.
  14. Uphold a high standard of patient care and customer service, and address any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  15. Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy regulations in handling patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position. A Master's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field Is Preferred.

  • Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Active Rn License In The State Where The Position Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Nursing Experience: The Candidate Must Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Nursing Role, With At Least 2 Years In A Management Or Leadership Position.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Have The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Nurses.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, Including Hipaa, Osha, And Joint Commission Standards. Experience With Budgeting And Financial Management Is Also Preferred.
