  1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to neonatal patients in the NICU unit.
  2. Monitor and assess patient's condition, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan.
  3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  4. Educate patients and families on proper care techniques and provide emotional support during their stay in the NICU.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions.
  6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary care and ensure continuity of care.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  9. Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices and maintain all required certifications and licensure.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Ascension Health and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu) Nursing

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certifications

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Neonatal Care Guidelines And Protocols, As Well As Experience With Specialized Equipment And Techniques Used In Nicu Settings.
