
Registered Nurse - Neonatal Critical Care (NICU)

- Provide specialized care to neonatal patients in the NICU unit.
- Monitor and assess the health and development of premature or critically ill infants.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and monitor their effectiveness.
- Educate and support families on caring for their infant's medical needs and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all interventions and changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements and changes in neonatal nursing practices and share knowledge with the team.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in nursing practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the unit manager or nursing leadership.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited College Or University.
Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Neonatal Critical Care Or Related Field.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certifications.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
