IntroductionThe world is facing a major health crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This novel coronavirus has spread rapidly, causing illness and death in many countries. As of October 2021, there have been over 240 million confirmed cases and over 4.9 million deaths worldwide. The pandemic has also had a significant impact on the global economy and has disrupted daily life for people around the world.2. Origins of COVID-19COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which is believed to have originated in bats and then spread to humans through an intermediate host, possibly a pangolin.
