Registered Nurse- Cardiac ICU

1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions in the ICU setting.
2. Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in cardiac nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
3. Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to any changes or abnormalities.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
5. Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, disease management, and post-treatment care.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
8. Keep abreast of current developments and trends in cardiac nursing, and participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, displaying empathy, compassion, and professionalism at all times.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
11. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have and ensuring their needs are met.
12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
13. Remain calm and efficient in high-stress situations, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to make sound clinical decisions.
14. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
