
Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Neurology

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized interventional radiology equipment and techniques.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs during procedures and respond to any changes or complications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques and methods for each patient.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and reports.
- Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Assist with the scheduling and coordination of procedures and maintain accurate records of patient appointments.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Foster a positive and professional working relationship with colleagues, patients, and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field, With Specialization In Interventional Neurology.
Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification In Interventional Radiography.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, With A Focus On Interventional Neurology Procedures.
Proficiency In Using Specialized Equipment And Software For Interventional Procedures, Such As Fluoroscopy And Angiography.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education And Support.
