  1. Perform sleep studies and other diagnostic tests accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Monitor patients during sleep studies and respond to any issues or concerns that may arise.
  3. Analyze and interpret sleep study results, identifying any abnormalities or potential sleep disorders.
  4. Prepare accurate and detailed reports of sleep study results for physician review and diagnosis.
  5. Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and proper use of equipment.
  6. Maintain and operate polysomnographic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  8. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sleep studies and procedures performed.
  10. Stay updated on new developments and advancements in the field of sleep medicine.
  11. Provide support and assistance to other healthcare professionals as needed.

  14. Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Rpsgt) Certification From The Board Of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (Brpt)

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Sleep Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Or Nursing

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Conducting And Interpreting Sleep Studies

  • Knowledge Of Various Sleep Disorders And Treatments, As Well As Equipment Used In Sleep Studies

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
