1. Conduct comprehensive sleep studies on patients using various monitoring equipment, including EEG, EKG, and respiratory sensors.
2. Prepare patients for sleep studies, explaining the procedure and addressing any questions or concerns.
3. Monitor patients during sleep studies, ensuring accurate and complete data collection.
4. Analyze and interpret sleep study results, identifying and documenting any abnormalities or potential sleep disorders.
5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
6. Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and the importance of healthy sleep habits.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including sleep study results and treatment plans.
8. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
