- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Rheumatology department, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the practice.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, satisfaction, and outcomes.
- Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure a high-performing team.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians to support their success and growth within the practice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including insurance companies, suppliers, and other healthcare organizations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Manage the practice's budget and resources to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members.
- Implement and maintain efficient and effective systems and processes to enhance the overall operations of the practice.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the practice.
- Serve as a liaison between the practice and other departments within Ascension Health.
- Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, and physicians.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the practice's operations and patient care.
- Ensure the practice's compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Operations Management, Preferably In A Rheumatology Setting.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems, Preferably Epic.
Experience With Financial Management, Budgeting, And Revenue Cycle Management In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Oversee And Manage A Team Of Healthcare Professionals, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Administrative Staff.
