• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all physician practices within Ascension Health, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall functioning of the practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Manage and coordinate staffing, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, to ensure adequate and qualified coverage at all times
• Monitor practice finances, including budgeting, revenue generation, and expense management, to ensure financial stability and profitability
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to practice staff
• Collaborate with other departments within Ascension Health to ensure seamless integration and communication between the physician practices and other areas of the organization
• Act as a liaison between physicians, staff, and patients to address any concerns or issues and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care and services provided by the physician practices
• Stay informed about current healthcare trends, regulations, and policies, and make recommendations for changes or updates to operations as needed
• Represent Ascension Health and the physician practices in a professional and positive manner at meetings, events, and other public forums.
