Physician - Pediatrics Hospice and Palliative Medicine

At Ascension Health, we are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Physician - Pediatrics Hospice and Palliative Medicine to join our team. The successful candidate will provide medical care to pediatric patients and their families in the hospice and palliative medicine setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, board-certified Pediatrician with a specialty in hospice and palliative medicine. They must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical care to pediatric patients and their families in the hospice and palliative medicine setting.
2. Maintain communication with patients and their families, including providing education on hospice and palliative care.
3. Coordinate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
4. Document patient visits and treatments in accordance with departmental and organizational standards.
5. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospice and palliative medicine through continuing education.
7. Participate in provider meetings and other professional development activities.
8. Adhere to HIPAA and other legal and regulatory requirements.
