1. Provide medical expertise and guidance to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
2. Collaborate with clinical staff to review and evaluate medical records, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
3. Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical processes and outcomes, and develop and implement action plans to address these areas.
4. Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and administration, communicating updates and changes in policies, procedures, and regulations.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
6. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery.
7. Educate and train clinical staff on best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
8. Act as a resource for physicians and other healthcare providers, providing support and guidance on complex medical cases.
9. Collaborate with case managers, utilization review staff, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient and appropriate care for patients.
10. Stay current on industry developments and best practices, and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures as needed.
