Job Description

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care for pediatric patients? Ascension Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatrics - Telemetry Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for pediatric patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment.   1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for pediatric patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
  2. Provide exceptional care and support to pediatric patients and their families.
  3. Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely care.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures performed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Follow established protocols and procedures for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
  7. Recognize and report any changes or abnormalities in cardiac rhythms.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  10. Keep abreast of advancements and changes in pediatric cardiac care and telemetry technology.
  11. Provide emotional support to pediatric patients and their families during procedures and treatments.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  13. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Telemetry Monitoring And Interpretation In A Pediatric Setting

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Cardiac Arrhythmias And Ability To Recognize And Respond To Changes In Patient's Condition

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multidisciplinary Team

  • Proficient In Using Telemetry Equipment And Electronic Medical Records Systems
