  1. Develop and implement patient safety strategies: The primary responsibility of the Patient Safety Program Manager is to develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety across the healthcare system. This includes conducting research, analyzing data, and collaborating with various departments to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Ensure compliance with safety regulations: The Patient Safety Program Manager will be responsible for staying up-to-date with all safety regulations and guidelines set by regulatory bodies such as the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. They will ensure that all policies and procedures related to patient safety are in compliance with these standards.
  3. Conduct risk assessments: The Patient Safety Program Manager will conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop mitigation plans to reduce the risk of harm to patients.
  4. Train and educate staff: It is the responsibility of the Patient Safety Program Manager to educate and train staff on patient safety practices and protocols. Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Patient Safety Or Quality Management In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Patient Safety Regulations And Standards, Including Joint Commission And Cms Requirements.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Patient Safety Initiatives And Programs.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Healthcare Professionals And Departments.
