Patient Monitor

Ascension Health is looking for a skilled and motivated Patient Monitor to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and has the expertise to ensure that all safety protocols are followed. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating patient vital signs, responding to patient needs, and reporting any changes to medical staff. To be successful in this role, you must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, be certified in basic life support (BLS), and have a minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and evaluate patient vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels.
2. Respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner.
3. Report any changes or irregularities to medical staff.
4. Provide assistance and support to other healthcare providers as needed.
5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
6. Maintain patient records and documentation.
7. Provide patient education and information as needed.
8. Ensure all medical equipment is in working order and properly maintained.
9. Assist with patient transfers and ambulation, if necessary.
10. Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on changes in the healthcare field.
