
Patient Access Representative

- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling.
- Educate patients on financial responsibilities and assist with payment arrangements.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Continuously update and maintain patient records and databases.
- Assist with discharge planning and patient follow-up.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve patient issues and concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay informed of changes in insurance and billing regulations.
