- Serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking after-hours care, and assist them in navigating the healthcare system.
- Accurately register and schedule patients for appointments, collecting and verifying all necessary information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow established protocols for handling urgent and emergency situations, and escalate as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and other relevant information.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures in order to provide the best possible care to patients.
