In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, while providing support to our dedicated healthcare professionals.   1. Maintain and organize office supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in working order.
  2. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  3. Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and procedures for the Neurology team.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  5. Assist with billing and insurance processes, including verifying insurance coverage and collecting payments.
  6. Greet and assist patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  8. Monitor and track office expenses and assist with creating and managing budgets.
  9. Assist with data entry and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  10. Uphold and promote the mission and values of Ascension Health, including a commitment to compassionate and high-quality patient care.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the office operations.
  12. Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the organization in a positive light to patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or other supervisory staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Office Setting, Preferably In A Healthcare Environment

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Specific To Neurology

  • Proficient In Microsoft Office Suite And Electronic Medical Record Systems.
