  1. Assist with day-to-day operations of the OBGYN office, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining patient records.
  2. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the office.
  3. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle other forms of communication in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Coordinate and manage patient referrals, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and efficient office operations.
  6. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring all information is accurate, confidential, and up-to-date.
  7. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for patient appointments and procedures.
  8. Facilitate patient payments and manage billing inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  9. Monitor and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring necessary items are stocked and available.
  10. Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and other office duties as needed.
  11. Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  12. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  13. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on office policies, procedures, and best practices.
  14. Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements to enhance office efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Obgyn Office Operations Assistant Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Medical Office Experience: Previous Experience In A Medical Office Setting, Preferably In An Ob/Gyn Setting, Is Required For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Including Ob/Gyn Specific Terms.
