Advanced Nursing Degree: A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp) With A Specialization In Pediatric Hematology Oncology Is Required For This Position.
Current Nurse Practitioner Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid Nurse Practitioner Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (Pncb).
Pediatric Hematology Oncology Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In The Field Of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice And Be Able To Incorporate It Into Their Clinical Decision Making.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Nurse Practitioner Will Be Working Closely With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide Comprehensive Care To Pediatric Hematology Oncology Patients.
