
Nuclear Medicine Technologist

- Perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures: The primary responsibility of this position is to perform various nuclear medicine procedures, including administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and monitoring patient reactions.
- Assist in Diagnosis and Treatment: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by providing accurate and high-quality imaging results.
- Provide Compassionate Care: The ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of compassion and empathy towards patients and be committed to providing them with the best possible care and support during their procedures.

- Perform Equipment Maintenance: It is the responsibility of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay Informed on Industry Developments: The candidate should stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in nuclear medicine technology and procedures and incorporate them into their practice.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, infection control measures, and ethical standards.
- Uphold Professionalism: As a representative of Ascension Health, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist must maintain a professional demeanor at all times and uphold the values and mission of the organization.
Certification By The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (Nmtcb) Or American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology From An Accredited Program.
Proficient In Operating And Maintaining Nuclear Medicine Equipment, Including Pet/Ct Scanners.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Radiation Safety Protocols.
