  • Monitor and supervise patients in a mental health facility to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Observe and document patient behavior, including any changes or concerns, and report to appropriate staff members.
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as eating, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Respond to emergencies and crisis situations in a calm and effective manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate with patients in a compassionate and respectful manner, promoting a sense of trust and comfort.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, as well as administer medications as directed by the nursing staff.
  • Attend trainings and educational opportunities to stay informed on best practices for mental health care and safety.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families, and report any concerns or issues to the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification

  • Completion Of A State-Approved Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Training Program

  • Experience Working With Individuals With Mental Health Disorders, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To De-Escalate Potentially Volatile Situations.
