Medical Front Office--Pedi Dermatology

Ascension Health is looking for an experienced and organized Medical Front Office professional to join our Pedi Dermatology team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The successful individual will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to patients and families, have an attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in a medical office setting with the ability to work with electronic medical records and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Greet patients and families in a courteous and welcoming manner.
2. Answer incoming calls and emails from patients and families and provide assistance in a timely manner.
3. Schedule appointments and manage patient records in the electronic medical records system.
4. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
5. Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure accurate billing.
6. Respond to patient inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
7. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
8. Maintain knowledge of office policies and procedures.
9. Support other office staff with various administrative tasks.
10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
