Medical Front Office - Orthopedics Department

We are looking for an experienced Medical Front Office professional to join our Orthopedics Department at Ascension Health. Responsibilities:

1. Greet and register patients in a professional and friendly manner.
2. Answer phone calls, answer questions, and transfer calls to appropriate departments.
3. Collect patient insurance information and verify eligibility.
4. Schedule appointments and ensure accuracy of patient data.
5. Collect payments, reconcile accounts, and explain billing options.
6. Prepare and maintain patient records and reports.
7. Provide general administrative support to the orthopedics team.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant HIPAA regulations.
9. Assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have.
10. Assist in resolving any billing discrepancies.
