  8. Provide training and support: The Medical Coder may be responsible for providing training and support to other healthcare professionals on coding practices and regulations.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: The Medical Coder may be involved in quality improvement initiatives to improve coding accuracy and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Icd-10, Cpt, And Hcpcs Coding Systems.

  • Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Credential From The American Health Information Management Association (Ahima).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Coding Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Coding Software.
