We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a proven commitment to providing excellent patient care.The Medical Assistant - Orthopedics will be responsible for assisting the physicians and nursing staff in providing direct patient care to orthopedic patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and multitasking skills, and experience working in a healthcare setting. The Medical Assistant - Orthopedics will be a key member of the orthopedic care team and will ensure the smooth running of the department by performing a variety of administrative and clinical duties.To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a Medical Assistant certification. Previous experience in an orthopedic setting is a plus. Medical Assistant - Orthopedics Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nursing staff in providing direct patient care to orthopedic patients.
- Perform administrative and clinical duties to ensure the smooth running of the orthopedic care team.
- Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy of patient information.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide support to patients and family members with medical concerns, questions, and other needs.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, family members, and staff.
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations as requested.
- Educate patients on proper care and treatment.
- Assist in data collection and analysis of patient information to ensure the best possible care.
